Mitsubishi Terminates its Relationship with the Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan
The Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan regrets to announce that Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada Inc. decided to terminate its membership in the CAMVAP program effective September 1, 2006. All Mitsubishi cases that were commenced prior to September 1st will be handled through CAMVAP.
Consumers experiencing problems with their Mitsubishi vehicles where a manufacturing defect is being alleged or who are having difficulty with the implementation of the manufacturer's warranty should first try to settle the problem with the dealer and, if that fails, with Mitsubishi directly. If they are unable to reach a satisfactory solution, they should then contact the consumer protection office in the province or territory where they reside.
